Graduate Researchers
We welcome collaborations from graduate students interested in working with the center. Please email Dr. Erik Nisbet to discuss research interests and possible fit. CCPP offers graduate students interested in political communication opportunities to be involved in a variety of projects, including studies of international relations and public policy, misinformation, science communication, and election research. Depending on the project, responsibilities include participating in and/or managing data collection, conducting analyses, and preparing reports and publications. Graduate students who contribute directly to projects will have opportunities to be co-authors, including lead authors, on publications.
Undergraduate Researchers
We welcome applications from talented undergraduate students. In general, we look for a strong academic background and desire to do research. Typically, undergraduate students are asked to commit between eight to ten hours per week. Interested students should email a brief overview of their interests, as well as a resume or CV. Undergraduate students with independent research, capstone projects, or senior thesis are also encouraged to reach out to Dr. Erik Nisbet to discuss mentorship through the Center
