Our Mission
Our mission is to advance interdisciplinary and collaborative scholarship that informs public policy in areas such as democracy, elections, political violence, dis/information, and polarized science and health.
CCPP organizes and supports research projects at Northwestern University and other institutions worldwide that advance and inform public policy. Our projects and scholarship primarily fall within four policy-relevant research areas:
CCPP also organizes research seminars, speaker series, conferences, and workshops that bring together scholars, government officials, nongovernmental organizations, and business leaders from around the world to discuss the latest communication research and practices that address a variety of global policy challenges.
